Fairfax Launches Capital Fund Drive for Fort Ridgely State Park Golf Course Equipment and Supplies! We need your help!

January 30th, 2017

Thanks to the first 35 contributors who help Fairfax pass the $10,000 mark in pledges for the purchase of equipment and supplies needed to manage and operate the golf course at Fort Ridgely State Park (FRSP).  The goal of the Fairfax Golf Course Capital Campaign is $100,000 in pledges.  The Friends of Fort Ridgely is assisting with the capital campaign.

Can you help Fairfax reach the $25,000 mark by Valentine’s Day, when the Fairfax city council meets?

There’s lots of love in the air for the 90 year old golf course at FRSP.  Fairfax needs our help to save the golf course for the enjoyment of our grandchildren and great grandchildren.  We are blessed that Fairfax is willing to do this for us!

Please step up and make a pledge to Fairfax by February 14thFor your convenience, print our pledge form.

There are three ways to pledge:

1.       Drop your pledge off at Fairfax City Hall at 12 1st St SE.

2.       Mail your pledge to:  City of Fairfax PO Box K Fairfax, MN 55332

3.       Email your pledge to Fairfax city administrator: mseibert-volz@mchsi.com

(Pledges will be due once the legislature passes the bill authorizing the lease of the golf course to the city of Fairfax.)

Together, we can help Fairfax save this iconic recreational destination from being plowed under!
